What are the social effects of the Chinese cultural revolution during 1966 to 1976

. Summary

The Cultural Revolution has been long regarded as a historical tragedy, bringing solely catastrophe and massive chaos to the society of China. My vision for the final paper would be that the Cultural Revolution may not only had destroyed the social order, but also may had impeded the modernization of China and the development of the economy.
