- Starting with assigned Scriptures from Unit 1 – 6, find Biblical passage regarding the family as well as others you might think are applicable and its intended structure and purpose. Incorporate these scriptures, discuss how today’s changing family compares and contrasts to the biblical mandates for it. Discuss the biblical instructions for marriage. How do these instructions address current issues regarding marriage and its permanence or lack of permanence today? Contrast the idea of covenant marriage with secular views of the disposability of marriage.
