In this discussion, I will discuss my expectation for a job. My expectation for a job is working for a company that has a good reputation, that I can be proud to acknowledge; having the ability to be advanced within the organization. In today’s time, every family needs benefits that meet the need of the family. Pay should at least meet the comparison of other companies. Working conditions that are safe at all times, and the company should listen to employee’s complaints about their safety. Stressing out employees is not ethical on the organization part. My expectancy is to make the employees as comfortable as possible, not only will the company have a high production rate, but you see less absent from the employees.

The company that I work for offered some of these expectations. such as benefits, the benefits are suitable for every family. It is up to the employee to take advantage of the benefits, and the rates are fair. The pay depends on your job title and education, meaning this situation varies in each department. The working condition is not the best and could use some improvement. For example, It is always cold in the department, whether it’s summer, winter, spring or fall.

Another example is the flu season. One employee has the flu; weeks later, we are out one by one with the virus. The employees stay sick all year round because of the confined space that we share. As stated early, listening to employee and making them comfortable is very important; the happier the employees are, the more productivity they are.
