Operation Anaconda was military combat planned and executed in Afghanistan following the bombing of the United States in September 2001. The military action was to fight the remaining Al-Qaeda militias in Afghanistan due to the increased terrorism in international levels. The operation Anaconda was planned for several months where the United States’ TF Dggaer camped in Afghanistan to secure and destroy the Taliban and Al Qaeda forces believed to be hiding and conducting operations in Shahi-Kot Valley (Fleri et al., 2003). However, the plan succeeded but was faced with several challenges inside the Battlefield Coordination Detachment (BCD). For instance, medical help was among the problems that faced the 10th Mountain Division Element during the operation which affected the nutrition, altitude sickness, lack of medical facilities, and handling the wounded soldiers during the fight. Also, the planned operation was faced with the problem of increased enemies against the expectations
