There are a number of factors that influence the type of criteria that consumers use when evaluating alternatives. Think back to a big purchase you recently made (car, home, boat, etc.) Reflect on the process you took to evaluate the item you purchased and the alternatives. Which of the six evaluative criteria did you use to make your decision (it can be more than one)? How did using these criteria help you to make your decision?

Your work should  draw from your own personal thoughts and ideas. This journal entry should be written in first person and use concepts from the lesson. If you use information from the textbook or lecture, be sure that you cite your sources.
